[Inx] replace CapsLock with Escape?

I've been looking all over and still don't get it.
I think I'm close though, eg in

/usr/share/X11/xkb/rules/xorg.list
I see a line "caps:swapescape", so I guess it is possible.

I also tried installing setxkbmap, but it wouldn't.

Just the location of the file to alter would make me happy; I could
experiment from there on.
