[Inx] Make working install of command line 8.04 into INX

If I had a working command-line install of Ubuntu 8.04 what would I need to
add, change to get INX working. I'd obviously have to install the apps it
uses but how do I install INX itself. I'm guessing there are a few scripts I
would need to copy over to my system. Am I on the right track?
