That is one aspect that bothers me. Having said that, I suppose the
sort of person who signs up for mailing lists is unlikely to find it an
obstacle.

It's still early enough to change - could be more difficult when INX
achieves world domination... ;-)

I await further votes. 

One other point: the LP list is inx-devel , which is likely to make
people think the list is for development only. It seems to me that INX
should try not to scare away people who might simply want to try it as
a learning tool, without necessarily getting involved in code, and so
on. 

At this stage, unless people object, we could do as David has done,
and post/reply to both. I'm doing that here - it gives us two archives,
which may or may not be useful, although having a mail archive on LP
might prove to be a good move.

Later, perhaps, the LP list could focus on development issues, with the
inx.maincontent list acting as a general list?
